My trailer brake chamber had an air leak this morning when I arrived at the receiver warehouse West Nyack, NY this morning, which it had also locked the tire. Luckily for YouTube, I was able to release the diaphragm inside the chamber and drove off to the side to avoid blocking others. I called couple places for some estimates but wasn’t satisfied with the costs. Well, I ended up talking to Torin at American Fleet Services located at 911 NY-32, Highland Mills, NY which was 25 miles away and got a quote of $400 to replace it. The best part was he could do it in couple hours as I have another load to pick up. Told him I would be there within an hour and I did. Once I arrived, Torin came to greet me and started to gather my info. It took him less than an hour to finish the job and only charged me $325. I told him I would have to come back for the starter next time I’m in town. By the way, Torin is a super mellow man and very professional in his work. I wish there are more mechanics like him. I can’t say enough good things about this business! I pulled into the NYC/Newburgh KOA (071225) and did my normal walk-around before checking in and I noticed that my rear-most axle was cockeyed. Further inspection uncovered that one of my springs had slid. After I settled into my site, I called these guys and was able to schedule for them to come to the KOA on 071425, to triage and perform the necessary repairs. Five hours later my rig is up and I am confident in the repairs. Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I am a customer for life! Highly recommend All American Fleet Services!
