I called this hotel to check availability for a very busy weekend. The man I spoke to was so helpful (I think his name was JC) and made it worked for my high school team. I ended up booking 14 rooms for our team. JC even called me a day before check-in to just go over a few things. I liked that the automatic text was also helpful and they let my group check in early. Overall I had a great experience with customer service prior arriving.
At check in, it was a little busy. When it was my turn to step up, the lady immediately looked my way and in a rude tone says , “are you May? You need to swipe another card. ” Wow. No hello first? I told her that our school district would be paying for the rooms and promptly presented our district’s payment information. I was taken back as the customer service prior to this was very helpful and polite. Our district paid over 4k for our team for ONE night. I think she should have been more understanding of what may have been going on. I don’t know what the protocol is for this and a phone call may have cleared this up before our team’s arrival. Was not a pleasant experience. Thankfully rooms and keys were ready to go. So I am very grateful.
Rooms were spacious and clean. Other staff was helpful and accommodating. Good breakfast.
