Where passion meets professionalism My first time getting balayage was at Selvege with Abi, my favourite stylist & colourist 😎 Abi’s attention to detail, knowledge of hair & products, experience with style, confidence with colours and commitment to creativity gives instant assurance to anyone who wants their hair to vibe and shine! How it all happened was when... I’d initially booked for a basic treatment & cut when they asked if I’d be interested in modelling for a new line of products and colours (Present Times). At first, I didn’t really know what to expect as I’d never done it before, but I’d seen some of Abi’s work and could tell from her confidence that it would be stunning! So we went with the theme of Sunrise and Sunset to match the line Present Times. The tones and blends flowed perfectly and really brought out the shine of summer vibes! Then when I booked to get my roots touched up last month and she asked if I’d be interested in a second round for a competition then it was an instant yes! We’d always wanted to add in the bluish-teal so this time we went for Sunset on the Ocean Waves. It’s a gentler but equally dashing blend of coppers going into the blue then resting on sprinkles of yellow, depicting the light bouncing off the water. The red brings out the warmth and the blue is easygoing and refreshing, like take it easy and keep warm, perfect for easy and warm winter vibes! We’ve had a lot of fun with this and it’s been an eye opening plus vibe enhancing experience as I’ve learned so much more about hair, shape, maintenance, and products. Before all this, I hadn’t ventured much with hair but honestly I’d try any colour & style if Abs the one doing it coz she makes it amazing, feels refreshing, and keeps it easy to maintain. So if you need anything from a light trim to a full transformation then I’d strongly recommend Selvedge and ask for Abi, our favourite stylist in town 😉

Truly the best salon I’ve been going to for years since it opened!! I always do my usual balayage top-up for my long Asian hair and they really understand me. They know how to make it blonde but super ashy and blends well with my dark hair. If you want that instagramable balayage now hair, I would highly recommend here. I get so excited every time I go back and don’t go to any other salon.
