Highly recommend this place. My dog had to have surgery and not only was the doctor knowledgeable, but he walked me through the entire process. Staff was so nice and caring and they checked in on my dog very regularly. They followed up more on my pet than my mom’s surgeon did on her! The professionalism is what really stuck out. Every visit and follow up you can tell they truly cared about my pets well being. Thank you so much.

I brought my 16–17-year-old German Shepherd in because I was terrified she was having a stroke. She was too heavy for me to carry, and the front desk assistant and vet tech immediately came out and gently carried her in for me. They were incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate, especially knowing how emotional this was for me. The doctor was absolutely excellent — knowledgeable, calm, and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything and treated my dog with such care and dignity. You can truly tell that this team genuinely cares about both the pets and the people who love them. I’m deeply grateful for how they treated my best friend and for how supported I felt during a very stressful moment. I can’t thank them enough.

Dr. Kadhim and his staff are excellent! If you Love your Pet and only want to trust them with the best medical knowledge, Shiland Animal Hospital & Urgent Care in Rock Hill is your place. Our Tortoise Shell (Tortie) Cat had a tooth that was causing her enough pain that she scratched her cheek open, trying to get to the pain. Due to the wound, she needed surgery to remove the bad tooth and close up her cheek immediately. Dr. Kadhim and his skilled Veterinarian assistant were very calming to our Cat and made time in their busy schedule to perform the surgery. Before and after the surgery, he and his multiple assistants were very clear what had to be done and were patient with my worrisome questions. I think they understood I was a bit more concerned, since I had to take point on my Daughter's Cat healing since she was out of town. When I picked up Luna after the surgery, the directions and medication administration for her recovery were very clear. She was very calm after surgery, still drugged up I am sure, but even the next morning, after the drugs wore off, she was still easy going, which is saying a lot for a Tortie! The staff also called me first thing in the morning after surgery to check on her. They gave me some things to watch for that required me to call them back. On behalf of our family, thank you Doctor and all of your knowledgeable staff at Shiland Animal Hospital. You all are a hero to Luna, her Mummy (my Daughter), me, and the rest of our family. We brought our sweet corgi in because she was not feeling well. Dr. Kadhim, was very thoughtful in explaining her diagnosis. She ultimately required surgery and the Dr along with his entire staff were wonderful. They showed great care and attention to my nervous dog, made all of us feel at ease and provided amazing follow up post her surgery. She is feeling great and I have Dr. Kadhim to thank for that. For the level of care provided, the service was extremely affordable. We will continue to use Dr. Kadhim for our corgis needs. Thank you!

This is the absolute best veterinary office I have ever been to. The doctor at this veterinary hospital is a great guy! He went above and beyond for my dog! Him and his staff all did! My dog needed surgery for swallowing a sock she wasn’t passing, I went to 3 other places before this one, and no one wanted to help and kept sending me other places. The doctor here was more than happy to help Ella, even on a Sunday! He saved my dog who is more than a dog to me, she’s my best friend. They have been in contact with me everyday since the surgery to see the progress she’s making cause I didn’t have enough for the er every night for her recovery. They have been seeing pictures I sent to make sure everything looks good still. He even let me take her back to the office to look at the cut spot to make sure the healing is going good for us. Above and beyond!! I’ve never had a vets office do this for my animals. It is obvious the staff here really do care about your pet and getting them back to good health and not just an assembly line of flowing pets through to just make as much as you can! They truly care about your pet’s health here at this hospital. They are very hard working ppl! Open 7 days a week! Truly the best vet I have ever seen! I will forever be grateful for them saving my best friend! I trust them to any of my pets needs in the future! Thank you shiland veterinarian for all you done for us!

My dog Needed pyrometra surgery to survive and the Vets and the team at this hospital saved my dog! I’m in school as well, so I don’t know how I would’ve made it through life without her, but these group of professionals made sure I was able to live another day with my bestfriend and also provided the cheapest option from the Charlotte veterinary specialist If your animal needs surgery, put your trust in this clinic. They will take care of you and check on your pet after the surgery evrey single day afterwards with phone calls, and they also do check ups after in person to make sure your friend is doing good and holding up strong ❤️ bless up and thank you for saving my Bestfriend

6 year old Piper is home after surgery for the removal of bladder stones. Dr. Kadhim was wonderful. He was caring and patient while addressing each of my concerns, both before and after surgery. Her recovery could not have gone better. I was so impressed with the staff and facility that I made the move to Dr. Kadhim’s veterinary service for all of Piper’s future checkups and general care.

These guys are great! Emergency vet open on the weekend. Was able to get my dog looked at and diagnosed very quickly. Not much of a wait and fees were reasonable for her particular treatment and diagnosis. Vet and techs were great with my dog. Glad to find out she didn’t damaged her eye.

The workers here were all very friendly and transparent with prices and letting me pick exactly what I wanted to do for my dog. Dr. Kadhim was very knowledgeable and upfront about my dogs needs and very flexible with what was within my means. The facility was very clean. 10/10 would come back. :)

The Dr and staff here are amazing. One of our dogs was sick and had been seen by is regularly vet but going into the weekend he got worse so w brought him here because they were open. The receptionist made in immediate appointment (saving me emergency fees) when I got there we were seen right away. They all were genuinely concerned about our dog and got him treatment fast. Less than 24 hours later Sherman was almost 100% back to his normal self. I highly recommend them and will be back.
