Charming, Quirky, and Full of Character
The P.A. Smith Hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of historic Navasota. It perfectly blends old-world charm with modern comforts. Think rich, thoughtful décor and a hotel scent so good you’ll wish they bottled it (honestly, they should).
Michael deserves a standing ovation for his 5-star service—genuinely warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
The hidden speakeasy was such a fun touch (don’t miss it), and we appreciated the little details like the gift bag with earplugs—yes, earplugs!—because Navasota is a train town through and through. The trains are part of the experience, but the hotel was built to serve in that part of history and they do a solid job prepping guests for it.
All in all, this place is full of heart, history, and a whole lot of personality. Would I stay again? Yes. Would I recommend it to friends looking for something a little off the beaten path? Absolutely.
