David has been cooking for most of his life. He is self-taught and has been a full time Private Chef for 10 years. His roots are grounded in the Southern Cuisine that was instilled in him as a child by his grandmother and mother in his home state of Alabama. David has a love for food and he loves to make people happy with food. The biggest reward is cooking food that people love and watching them enjoy the food and eat until they have to stop!

I very much enjoyed Chef David's food while on my trip to Napa. The elevated southern cuisine was exactly what we were looking for. The bread pudding was AMAZING! Highly recommend!

Chef David is the rare combination of an easy to work with chef who produces large portions of perfectly prepared delicious food. For my mother’s milestone birthday, I requested some items I knew my mother would love but were not on Chef David’s usual menus. We collaborated well on how she liked those dishes and Chef David exceeded all expectations! Even drawing praise from my mother for how perfectly cooked the duck was - and believe me when I say my mother does not hand out praise loosely! If you are on the fence about choosing Chef David for your next event, do not hesitate to book him now!
