We did the 7 year maintenance check up with out Volvo XC40 with them, used them the first time and will definitely use their services again. Giles and Yuki (sorry we did not have contact with anyone else from their team…) were amazing, from booking to drop off, to the video that Giles did about the items that need be done, to open and timely communication during the service and the billing process (thanks, Yuki…). Giles went over and above of what was “required” and genuinely cared about the outcome, his professionalism shines!!! Exceptional communication, super friendly, professional and genuinely caring and listening. They even cleaned the car! Thank you!

I cannot speak highly enough of Giles and the team. My SAAB just shutdown while stopped at a set of lights in Geelong so I contacted Giles to see if he would be willing to accept the car and find the fault. Without hesitation he was happy to have the tow truck drop the car off. After trial and error, Giles diagnosed the problem, ordered the ignition switch and the car was good to go. Yuki then gave me a clear breakdown of associated costs for each item, again in order of priority so I could make an informed decision about how to proceed. Giles, Jack and Yuki are a DREAM TEAM! We were provided a video of all the initial checks they did on the car with details of what they have found and recommendations for things to consider fixing/cleaning/to keep an eye on. Then we got a detailed breakdown via text on how much everything would cost if we were to go ahead. The clear communication is so appreciated! The team at Your Local Mechanic were nothing but amazing. Super friendly! I mostly spoke to Yuki who was incredibly fast at getting back to me and explained everything really well (I know nothing much about vehicles) They fitted me in to get new breaks on the shortest notice, gave me the quickest quote, and did a great job. They even found a nail in my tire and fixed that too. Definitely worth 5 stars and absolutely recommend!

Giles and Yuki are a great team. Highly recommend them for all Volvo related jobs and services. I used to take my Volvo XC90 to the specialists in the east but I am happy we have a great one in the west of Melbourne as well. My car has a lot of issues and Giles has been knocking out the issues one at a time at a very reasonable cost and I'm very happy with the outcomes.
