Artisan Builders bought 30 acres of land in Great Falls to create Falls Farm. This land had many beautiful trees which animals and the local ecosystem depends upon to thrive.
In creating Falls Farm, Artisan Builders has killed and removed many of the trees on the property and plan to continue doing so, impacting all the surrounding neighbors and the larger community in Great Falls. You can see this plainly on Georgetown Pike where they are currently constructing Falls Farm.
Although they appear to make beautiful homes, it seems that they and their buyers are losing sight of the bigger picture. It is selfish to cut down all the trees that animals, people, insects, and the local community depends upon to live, thrive, and breathe simply for their own gain and profit. In reviewing the plans for Falls Farm there is limited effort made to preserve trees surrounding each property and neighboring ones so it appears Falls Farm will be another McMansion nightmare at the cost of the rest of us. Unfortunately our calls to them regarding this went unreturned so we are posting this concern here to raise awareness to all in the community. :)
