Highly recommend Red Baron Carpet. Quality products at a reasonable price - excellent customer service and outstanding installation! The whole experience from showroom to final installation was fantastic. Bruce and Pete were extremely helpful, provided sound guidance and recommendations/options to meet our specific needs. Nick and the installation team were top notch - fast, efficient and high-quality work. An amazing experience from start to finish!

Red Baron exceeded our expectations from the minute we walked into the showroom. Pete showed us several carpet samples and let us take as many as we wanted home. We got our room measured within a few days, and installation was completed a few days later by professional installers whose work was immaculate. We couldn't be happier with the carpet and our experience at Red Baron. It's nice to have an option for quality carpeting at a fair price in Newtown.

When we went to pick out our custom carpet for our bedroom in the shop, we were met with great customer service. Our carpet came out perfect. However, we had 2 problems with our delivery. One, the carpet pad was cut too short & we were met with an argument by the owner when we asked him to come back and fix it (which left us feeling upset). Second, the delivery people who laid down the carpet ended up moving some of our furniture in the periphery of the room (where the carpet wasn’t even located) and ended up leaving a few deep scratches in our hardwood floors. This area isn’t covered by the carpet and left a very noticeable mark in our bedroom.

Sooo happy we found this place. I had gone in for a sample and ended up choosing them as our installer instead of who we originally planned. They were super knowledgeable about every step of process and what preparation our basement floor would need. They gave helpful recommendations even before we requested them to do the install. Super helpful, courteous, and efficient. The floor was expertly done and looks like a million bucks. Thank you Red Baron!

We are in the middle of a major remodel and the Red Baron team has been an amazing part of the experience so far. They have been extremely accommodating with meeting our scheduling needs (a lot of moving pieces that have to get done in the right order) and knowledgeable in providing recommendations to suit our vision and budget. The carpet installation team was friendly, efficient, and extremely respectful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with how things looked before they wrapped up for the day. Highly recommend this team to anyone. We are really looking forward to seeing these guys again for phase 2. Even the baby inspected and approved of how great things looked! :)

Very upsetting: One Star for no call backs, and no help. I see many stars for this business, so maybe we're just unlucky. Many years ago, we had a PREMIUM carpet installed in our master bedroom. We're from Newtown, and only chose Red Baron because our kids played baseball with the owner Bruce's son (a nice kid). The installers did a really bad job with a wall-to-wall seam, they put it in a conspicuous place, and did a sloppy job with the padding seam - leaving gaps and overlaps. Red Baron (Bruce) resisted having someone come out to fix it for us. We finally got them to agree, but they didn't fix the padding problem, which ended up month by month creating a bump crease nearly across the room, seen in my photos. Over the years, we called now and then to complain, and were always told there was nothing they could do; that we'd have to pay. Have any of you out there ever seen a professionally installed premium carpet look like this? So much for shopping local!

Just had my stair tread put in today and I am in love! I stopped by Red Baron one weekend to take a look at a sample piece of carpet and by Monday Bruce came out to measure. I placed my order with Pete, the carpet came in the next week and the following week it was installed. The guys were great! Super nice and they did a fantastic job!

I had a wonderful experience with Red Baron Carpet for our foyer staircase, back stairs, hallway runners and a few other rooms in our home. Pete was really helpful as I looked through a ton of carpet options at their location, explaining the differences in material, upkeep, and patterns which were really important for our project. Bruce came to our home and did the layouts. He was easy to work with and had helpful suggestions as we figured out sizing and placement. The guys who came to do the install were very professional and went through the sizing and measurements before cutting so that we could make some minor final changes for aesthetics. I would definitely recommend Red Baron Carpet for your next project!

Pete and team were great to work with from start to finish. They helped in picking out carpet, allowing us to take samples home to test, and doing a neat and tidy installation. Team was very professional and they installed in a morning. I would highly recommend them. Here’s a before and after.
