Lived here for 2.5 years. Maintenance was quick and did a good job responding to requests. Quiet neighborhood and the apartments are large. Office staff were also kind and helpful.

I truly would not recommend Greer Brier to anyone!!!!!! I just moved out after living there for 4 years. I’m sooooo lucky to have a new home now!! Office staff and maintenance: They’re extremely lazy, high turnover rates, and are just rude in general. They don’t pick up the phone. I would walk over to the office and there’s 3 staff sitting inside. When you put in a maintenance request, you have to call the office (because they don't answer) and talk to them in person about 3-5 times before anything happens. Or even worse, maintenance gaslights you and tells you that the problem is resolved but they didn’t actually fix anything so you keep having to call about the same issues for 6 months literally. Every 6 months (not exaggerating) I had an issue with either my AC or heat. It takes roughly a week to get any response. I would sleep on my friends couches. My toilet wouldn’t flush consistently for my first 2 years living there - my friends would ask if my toilet was working before coming over. The glaze in my shower was peeling and the head of maintenance lied to me about getting it fixed - I waited 4 months before anyone helped. Then, once it was "fixed", I turned on the shower to no running water. When I first moved in, I asked if they could fix the gym and the pool table in the club house. They both aren’t usable. They said they would do it - well it’s been 4 years and the gym is still unsafe for operation and the pool table is still stuck in the 70s. The treadmills and ellipticals creak and you can’t see how fast you’re running or walking. At the office, they used to keep the door locked because there were so many people who’d complain about lack of AC or heat or any other major problem that had been band aided for years. It took several months to receive my security deposit after calling the officecountless times, and verifying my address about 5 times. I literally had to drive to the office twice from my new home to attempt to get my money back. Mind you, I asked for a phone call from Brooke (manager) three times… she never called me. You just can’t make this up!! Maybe someone from Green Brier will comment with excuses. Honestly, all of these issues are unacceptable and inexcusable.
