Negligent & irresponsible dentist. I sincerely hope they look into their quality of service. It's such a shame that they don't uphold to proper standards - had this gone the worst turn, someone could've died. Took my helper here because it was nearby and open on a weekend afternoon, first doctor extracted her molar tooth without an x-ray on Saturday, sent home with no antibiotics only 1 painkiller and she was told to comeback the following day to take the roots out because on Saturday they had a backlog of patients so they rushed her procedure (this was admitted when confronted on the phone -?????)
Follow up appointment to finish the procedure was given for next day Sunday 3PM (??), and my helper had to deal with crazy pain + a whole night of endless bleeding from her gums which caused her to lose so much blood that night. We had to bring her to a 24h clinic for medication to make up for the loss blood. We were only given an earlier appointment on Sunday once we called in to inform them how severe the case was. On Sunday they continued the procedure and taken the roots out but my helpers experience was traumatic to a point that even follow up days she was in pain, she was adamant she did not want to return to this dentist.
2 days after my helper was left with even more pain, headaches and almost fainted - had to take her to another dentist for a second opinion and true enough, we were not given the correct (or not given ANY) proper post/op care guidelines and her area which tooth extracted had already been mildly infected. The only surgery post/op care advice given was "to eat cold food for 2 days and to not gargle too much" whereas the advice for surgery post/op was to gargle after 24h's at least 8 times a day to ensure the area operated on is clean. Diet advice should've been more than "eat cold food".
