Primary Care, Psychiatry & Family Medicine at Radical ️❤️ Healing

I think Radical Healing serves as a wonderful model for what the future of community-based healthcare can be. Doctor's visits have always been hard for me, but this is the first practice where I haven't been clammy and shaky by the end of my visits. The whole atmosphere is as gentle, welcoming, and serene as possible. Everyone from the administrative staff to the doctors are kind, respectful, accommodating, and clearly communicate with the patients to keep us informed, educated, comfortable, and consenting throughout each stage of a visit. I've now been visiting here for about 3 months, and have received a range of services from mental health, to EDS screening, to physical exams, and I can say that the quality is there no matter what service you receive. I'm happy to say that this is my new favorite practice by a wide margin. I really appreciate the role that Radical Healing serves in our community. It truly makes a difference.

I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough! I graduated from the Duke Gender Clinic once I was no longer a minor, and Radical Healing is everything I could hope for in a primary care facility. Everyone there is as helpful, kind, and wonderful as can be. The environment could not be more welcoming, and it’s clear that all of the staff go above and beyond to make every client as comfortable as possible in every way. It’s so refreshing and magical to have a diverse group of caring people who truly, truly want you to have the best medical experience possible. I’ve had some unpleasant medical experiences as a neurodivergent, queer, trans, gender-nonconforming individual, but Radical Healing is a dream come true. From medical transition to urgent care to a normal checkup, this is the place to go if you need a safe space in a medical practitioner. Thank you to the entire Radical Healing team from the bottom of my and my family’s hearts!

This place is amazing and I’m so grateful it exists! It’s exactly what the LGBT community needs and I’m telling all my queer friends to come here! They have literally everything I need for primary care and mental health. Even trans care for my partner who never trusted doctors before. Everyone is so respectful and confidential and polite. Definitely 5 stars!

Coming here was the best experience I’ve ever had with a medical practice. From the intake with Anna, the vitals with Summer, and the visit with Destry, the entire experience was phenomenal. I’ve never felt so safe, seen, and validated in a medical setting before. They offer primary care, psychiatric care, and gender affirming care. I highly recommend their office!

The actual care is great but literally impossible to talk to someone if you need medical records.

I’m so excited that Radical Healing is now also providing primary care. The relation with one’s GP is an important one; it benefits from candor and trust. So it’s natural and powerful that a community founded to provide mental health is serving its members in this way.
