We hired DJ Ren for my daughter’s Year 10 formal, and he was a blast. The kids enjoyed to music from the beginning to the end of the night. At no time through out the night was the dance floor deserted. The music he played was great and was directed perfectly to the age of the kids. DJ Ren worked with me when I needed to make speeches by providing the mic and information. Would absolutely recommend DJ Ren for any occasion.

Had Ren for our School Formal and couldn’t have been happier. Incredibly professional, easy to work with, and superb at getting the entire group up on the dance floor – even the usually reluctant dancers joined in. The meetings and check-ins leading up to the wedding made the whole wedding planning process so seamless. His use of an app to organise specific songs for each part of the day made planning a lot easier and allowed us to envision each part of the day. I had Ren at my 21st and he absolutely made the night! Music was perfect from start to finish. The transitions were smooth, the energy never dropped, and he was able to mix in all of my favourite songs which made it feel really personal. I had so many guests tell me how amazing the DJ was. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding DJ! Ren went above and beyond in every way. From the very beginning, Ren was so calming, down to earth, and supportive. He didn’t just show up and play music, he actively helped us with our timeline and run sheet, and every meeting with him left us feeling more organised and so much less stressed. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating the perfect day for each couple. The app he uses to help select and import music was a lifesaver, especially because we were particular about the style and mood we wanted. He made the whole music planning process feel easy and fun. On the day, he was an exceptional MC. He kept everything flowing effortlessly without ever feeling intrusive, just the right balance of guidance, warmth, and professionalism. We originally weren’t even going to hire an MC, and now I actually don’t know how we would’ve done the day without him. The dance floor was amazing. We had guests tell us after they hadn’t partied that hard since they were 21. The dance floor was full all night, the transitions were perfect, and he read the room with absolute precision. As the bride, I spent most of the night on the dance floor, which was exactly what I wanted. We added on the party lights too, and it was absolutely worth it. It elevated the whole vibe and turned the space into a proper celebration. At the very end of the night, Ren played a last song just for the two of us after everyone had left. It was one of the most special moments of the entire day and is something we’ll remember forever. Ren is genuinely one of those vendors who is not only incredibly talented, but actually invested. He exceeded every expectation and helped make our wedding everything we hoped for. He’s just moved to Sydney, but we would wholeheartedly recommend him for Canberra weddings still, he is absolutely worth any travel fee. We’re so grateful we chose him. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough.

Ren, you're 10 out of 10! You really did have us bopping from 8 ‘til Late! Ren was so fantastic to work with for our ceremony, canapé hour and for our reception. The way he helped us to plan and structure the event, using an app for us to add in our music choices, and scheduling really helpful online meetings with us to hone the vibes was great. He made our wedding day feel like a movie, expertly injecting our favourite songs and others he knew would hit into key moments of the day. He liaised with our other vendors so well, and exceeded our expectations. His set up is excellent, and the added lighting was so much fun. He created so many special moments in the evening, and got our guests of all ages dancing. The highest compliment we got was “is he a friend of yours?” Because he knew us so well and was so friendly and open to our ideas. O recommend Ren and 8 ‘Til Late to anyone in need of an excellent DJ to give you an excellent time at to our next event!

DJ Ren brought his DJ skills and photobooth to our recent event, which was a milestone birthday with about 80 guests. Ren is a great communicator, well-organised, punctual, and his booking, invoicing and song selection systems are excellent. He did everything that was asked of him, and we could not have been happier with his work. Great equipment, speakers, microphone and ability to play whatever music we wanted.
