I had my hair transplant with Clinicana in March and overall my experience was very positive. From the first enquiry, Ecem was incredibly helpful, sending detailed information, real patient photos and videos which made me feel confident in booking. Communication leading up to the procedure was excellent and really helped calm my nerves. When I arrived in Istanbul, everything was organised smoothly, including airport pickup, blood tests and hotel transfer. On the day of the operation, the team were professional and reassuring. The local anaesthetic injections were slightly uncomfortable but only for a few minutes. After that, the six hour procedure was painless and I even managed to nap. They provided lunch during the procedure and explained all medications clearly afterwards. The aftercare and first wash the next day were also handled very well. The only small downside was confusion at the hotel regarding whether dinner was included, so I would recommend double checking this in advance as food prices are high. Overall, the clinic itself was professional, organised and supportive throughout the whole journey. I am now looking forward to seeing the results over the coming months and would recommend Clinicana to anyone considering a hair transplant. His care didn't stop at the clinic; he followed up personally from the time I landed in Istanbul until I traveled back home, ensuring every detail was perfect. The clinic itself is located inside Acibadem Hospital in Taksim, a top tier, well equipped, and modern facility that instantly builds confidence. It's just a 1-minute drive from the Naz Hotel, where Clinicana arranged our stay excellent service and comfort throughout. Day 1: Initial Lab Work and Consultation with Dr. Ravad We kicked off with lab tests on the first day. The next day, I met Dr. Ravad, a truly caring doctor who explained the entire procedure from A to Z. He set realistic expectations, addressed all my concerns patiently, and made me feel completely at ease. Day 2: Pre-Op Confirmation with Medical Manager Eyad and the Procedure Before the operation, I consulted with Medical Manager Eyad, a humble and highly experienced professional who confirmed everything Dr. Ravad had outlined and add more reassurance to me. In the transplant room, the first 10 minutes were a bit challenging due to the local anesthesia, but after that, everything flowed smoothly and comfortably. Prof. Sonner supervised key stages of my procedure, adding an extra layer of expertise and reassurance. Post-Op Care: Thorough and Personalized Post-surgery, I received two follow-up consultations and a professional hair wash the next day. The team's attention to detail ensured I left Istanbul thrilled with the initial results. Clinicana did their part exceptionally well now it's up to me to follow their instructions for the best long-term outcome. I've read many reviews online; most reviews were great (as they should), while a few are less positive. But experiences are personal, and from my 3-4 days there, I saw universal happiness among patients, with equal, top notch treatment for everyone. Clinicana deserves every bit of praise they delivered an outstanding, life changing experience!
