An absolutely terrible experience today at BMW Airport Road.
I got a call about my enquiry on Monday asking to connect me with Sales, I politely requested they call me after 5pm.
Fast forward today is Friday, no calls yet. I decided to ring them up myself again to say I’m on my way there to look at and test drive the 3 Series. Their team let me know I can go, and that I could drive both Petrol and Diesel variants if I chose to.
On turning up at the dealership, I was sat outside in my car for 10mins because no one could tell me where to park my car. After that mess got sorted, I entered the dealership and was met with Christopher, Sales. Upon enquiring, I was immediately told I can only see the car but a test drive had to be booked in advance.
Like, seriously? BMW India, is telling a customer who drove 20KMs on a Friday, that they can’t drive a car? I politely declined and made my way to exit.
Here’s the interesting part : The same security guy, who couldn’t be found and after 10mins showed me where to park, opens the gate only half the way, thereby making it uncomfortable to drive out.
Overall an absolutely horrendous experience, I was wary anyway looking at recent reviews. I will be purchasing my 4th Luxury vehicle, but this time from Audi.
Cheers BMW, but no thanks.
