Staff were attentive throughout my meal. The place was cozy, and I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. The roasted chicken was a highlight, with its rich aroma and perfectly cooked skin. I noticed the tables were nicely spaced, which made it easy to chat with friends. A server quickly refilled our water without needing to be asked, which was a nice touch. The food was enjoyable, and I highly recommend trying their signature dishes. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

@骆老妈川菜馆 is now my go to spot for a quick, flavour packed lunch near the office. The Black Bean Curd Spicy Boiled Fish is fragrant, numbing and spicy yet not greasy so it works well even on a workday. The Fresh Chili Chicken is crisp outside and juicy inside with just the right heat. Service is fast enough for a one hour break and the izakaya style Jianghu vibe feels cosy. Convenient location at 30 Prinsep St, #01-02, Singapore 188647.

Tried the black bean tofu fish slices, pork trotters soup, and stir-fried pork intestines with green peas. Everything was well cooked and flavorful. The fish was tender, the soup rich but comforting, and the intestines clean and perfectly seasoned. Solid, authentic Sichuan food.

Finally try the signature dishes and we all enjoyed the food. Highly recommend the roasted chicken the most, suitable for Cantonese.

Dishes mostly just warm.. Not Hot! Especially Soup.. tofu too dry.. chicken too dry.. Fried rice too oily & salty.. we go on Sunday evening around 7.. there are only two table customers.. Only one staff to serve all.. not even come to my table and ask me what I need.. we also never asked for anything.. still with services charge.. not worth it!

The only dish that is amazing is the boiled fish. The fish slices are very tender and fresh. The old tofu in it did not absorb the taste of the soup base. Barbecued chicken is quite dry, the meat tastes like wood. Not juicy but oily. Soy Duck with bamboo shot is very salty. And the meat is very dry too.

A new Sichuan restaurant just opened 2 months ago, so expect more refinements down the road. The fish 黑豆花水煮鱼 was really good, though I felt very thirsty after having it. The rabbit was way underwhelming, the meat was not tender… other dishes are average.

Was sceptical when I saw 5stars rating and with a few reviewers making their 1st review. Food was indeed nice. Service too. Highly recommended!!
