Completed an intake session and a follow-up consultation. My therapist was really good and I was looking forward to continuing the program. However, their admin processes have left a really sour taste in my mouth.
After my intake session, my notes weren't saved in the system, so when I went for the consultation, it was basically a repetition of the intake session. I was asked the same questions all over again and got nothing new out of it. On top of that, I was also charged for both sessions. I really feel like my money was wasted and it was no fault on my part. I emailed the owner as well, but received no response.
Anyway, I had requested my subsequent consultation the week after, and assumed it was scheduled for the time requested, but didn't receive a confirmation email the day of. Tried calling their office a few times to make sure it was still happening, and no one answered. I'm now pretty frustrated and I'm just going to find a different therapist. KMA needs to communicate with its clients better.
Updated review: The owner, Kimberly, reached out to me and apologized for the issue. There were very understandable circumstances why she couldn't get back to me sooner. I was also compensated for the admin error. Will be continuing with KMA.
