Allergy & Asthma Clinic of Maryland: V. Cuneyt Kalfa, MD

It's been about 8 months that I wanted to write this review. Dr. Kalfa and his team are like a gem in the D.C. metropolitan area. Highly understanding, polite, respectful, knowledgeable, and caring. Unlike other allergy offices and practices in D.C. I have visited, they understand patients' constraints and are willing to take the necessary actions to help with the situation. Dr. Kalfa has excellent manners and is very pleasant to talk to. He is the kind of personality you wish to have as a family friend. He is also among the very few physicians I have seen who look very well-dressed (and have ties in office! Wearing ties is not necessarily a marker of professionalism. But, it certainly contributes to a physician's perfection level, besides all other positive factors seen in Dr. Kalfa and his team). I wish him and his practice all the best and hope they continue perfecting their practice as before. P.S. Suggestion: I found the allergy shot days and hours very confusing. Please make the shot clinic hours more explicit and easily identifiable on your website.

Dr. Kalfa and staff were excellent. Our visit left us feeling heard and reassured, if not comforted. The cold, sterile waiting area was surprisingly offset by the warmth and attention provided by the staff. We were provided with helpful information and a detailed plan of action. Good service is hard to find these days, so I sincerely appreciate the rare occasion.
