4th Generation Mechanical

Having recently completed a new-build in Crested Butte working with Michael from the design and bidding phase all the way through completion, I couldn’t recommend him personally and the 4th Generation team as a whole more enthusiastically. Their collective professionalism, attention to detail, attentiveness, and importantly, their ability to coordinate schedules with other sub contractors, executing as needed, was notable in a valley where that is not the norm! When challenges arose and creative solutions were needed, Michael was game to dig in and be the “yes” guy who could make it happen. On top of it all, during our project when friends had emergency needs he even managed to stretch his schedule and fit them in, plugging holes others had left to ensure successful completions of their projects as well. Looking ahead, no matter the potential mechanical situation that will inevitably arise, I feel better knowing I have Michael’s phone number with a star beside it in my phone.

As a general contractor, 4th Generation Mechanical has been a reliable partner in home building. They are thorough with their planning, upfront with their pricing, communicate well during each job, and stand behind their work. Mike and his team are incredibly knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing and heating services.

We strongly recommend Michael and 4th Generation Mechanical! When we discovered a major leak in our underfloor heating system we called Michael. It was after hours and Michael responded right away, coming to the house within minutes and stopped the leak to prevent further damage. He was prompt, courteous and really knew what he was doing. In fact we have contracted with him to make a major modification to close our system from using fresh water to one that uses glycol so it will not freeze again. Michael provides excellent service, knowledgeable advice and tells you ahead of time how much it will cost.

I am very pleased with the work of 4th Gen. They responded to my distress call (no hot water) and communicated in a timely manner. Michael was knowledgeable and very professional. He fixed the problem, explaining the sources of trouble, and offered good advice for any future issues. I would highly, and without hesitation, recommend 4th Gen for any plumbing service.

Over the holidays our water system had troubles- we knew that we had BIG troubles. We called them and got response right away! They came to the house within a day and fixed it all over the holidays! They were professional, kind and had quality work. They are a gem in this valley, and we are grateful to have them around.
