Most small businesses don’t have a revenue problem… they have a habit problem.
The difference between constantly feeling behind vs. being able to actually focus on tomorrow, next week, next month, etc.. It usually comes down to a few simple things done consistently:
1. Track your expenses
If you don’t know where your money is going, you can’t control it. Period.
2.Stay on top of cash flow
If you’re constantly financing yesterdays problems, you won’t be able to afford tomorrows growth.
3. Plan for taxes year-round
Taxes shouldn’t be a surprise and they aren’t next months problem when you’re strategic about your revenue.
Small changes in these areas can completely change how your business feels to run.
If you’re not doing these consistently, there’s a good chance you’re leaving money on the table, you’re constantly reviewing last week, and you never get to plan for next week.
