I don't think these guys upsell any services when it's not necessary. Mine had a worn brake shoe close to DOT legal limit. So I actually felt appreciated that they don't just let drivers have an "easy inspection and get away". Definitely they do their inspections, and they have you decide to proceed or not. (= conservative) Rates weren't bad in my opinion.

Be careful with these people. Make sure you get all the information right before accepting a road service. Ask them how much they really charge for the type of job they will perform. I was 25 miles away and they told me it was $50 for the call and $165 an hour 2 hours minimum. What do you know the guy was 1:30 away. Very convenient. Be very careful with these people. They will for sure make the day with you.
