PLEASE READ BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY
I had a tire blowout and called for roadside tire repair around 9 PM. I provided my vehicle type and tire size in advance. Joshua arrived about 1.5 hours later without a replacement tire—only a car jack. He removed my tire and told me he had to take it back to the shop to “fix” it.
Before leaving, he required half of the total payment upfront: $150 out of a $300 total. He also told me that if I left a good review, he would give me a $25 discount. I paid the $150, and he left with my tire.
For the next 2½ hours, I had to repeatedly text him for updates because he wasn’t providing any. He kept saying he was stuck in traffic. Around midnight, he finally returned, reinstalled the tire, and left after I paid the remaining balance. A few weeks later, the tire began repeatedly going flat.
I later had it inspected at a tire shop, where I was told the tire was internally damaged and not repairable. The technician also noted that the tire had been mounted incorrectly, with the sidewall labeled “INSIDE” facing outward. I have photos, video, and written confirmation of this.
I was also told that if this tire had failed while I was driving at highway speeds, I could have lost control of my vehicle and seriously injured myself and/or someone else.
After everything happened, I went back and reviewed the company’s website. That’s when I noticed the listed pricing for their services. A Used Tire Installation (Mobile) is advertised for $150, while a New Tire Installation (Mobile) is listed for $275. I was originally quoted $300 and was told I would receive a $25 discount if I left a positive review, bringing my total to $275. However, Joshua never arrived with a new tire. Instead, he removed my tire, left with it, and returned hours later with a tire that appeared used. Based on the pricing listed on their own website, this raised even more concerns about the service I received and what I was actually charged for.
One thing that stood out to me was the difference in how my calls were handled. After I reported what happened and was told a dispatcher would contact me, I waited from approximately 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and never received a call or text. However, when I later called as if I were a new customer needing roadside assistance, my call was answered and I was told they have to get a quote from the dispatcher. I was given a quote almost immediately after. It was disappointing to see such a difference in responsiveness when I was trying to resolve an issue with the service I had already paid for.
