1300 FINDLEAK Gas & Water Leak Detection

What a great experience! Highly recommend I had a leak that had been ongoing for over 6 years, causing water damage to my home. Michael from 1300 Find Leak was finally able to track it down. He took his time with the right tools, explained everything clearly, and handled the job with professionalism from start to finish. His attitude and knowledge in his trade really stood out. I highly recommend his services to anyone dealing with a leak you’ll be in good hands.

After many years of being perplexed about a mysterious leak, Oliver was able to isolate the cause and suggest an appropriate remedy. We are in the process of rectifying the problem but it all seems to make sense. A great service.

1300 Findleak serviceman came to our property in early September 2025. Despite using various equipment including acoustic device to detect they were not able to accurately locate the source of the leak. Their claim of "detecting even the most elusive leaks" is nothing but an overpromise and underdeliver in our case. The serviceman who attended our property was brash and in a rush. In an attempt to locate the leak while his equipment failed to accurately find it, he snapped and broke two of our wooden deck panels so he could dig underneath. He did ask and said the screws were there anyway so it would not make any difference to "simply" lift and break the wood panel, we felt that we had no choice at the time as we were desperate to find the leak and cut the water bill and he kept saying he had another job in the city. He had all the tools available to remove the screws first without damaging the wood. He was either in a hurry or too lazy to remove the screws to open the panel, he just lifted and broke the wood. He simply did not care. Net net 1300 Findleak did not find the exact location of the leak, our plumber did! He showed us the "approximate" leak location and he added it was most likely inside the house - not what we didn't know already as we could hear where the hissing noise came from but we believed there was a chance it was outside the house. Luckily our plumber didn't jack hammer the tiled floor inside the house as the leak was indeed outside the house. It was unfortunate that we wasted our money on using 1300 Findleak. I would not have given even 1 star if Google allows.

Michael ward used acoustics to identify water leak under my driveway. Took 1 hr. Very happy as subsequent plumber came in to do repairs and leak was exactly where Mike had identified.

Michael Schulze rocked up to my place at the appointed hour and got right down to business. A very pleasant young man, very knowledgeable and located the general area of the Pipe leak using all the tools in his kit. He followed this up with a detailed message on his findings and a video for the Plumber who is due tomorrow. Highly recommendable individual in his no nonsense approach and very efficient at that.

I was recommended Find Leak by a family member who had used them a week before and said that the person (Michael) was very efficient, professional and thorough. Michael turned up on time, and lived up to the expectation, found the leak in no time.

We use 1300 FINDLEAK through our Building Company occasionally when necessary and find their service to be helpful and bring extra peace of mind to find a solution to Leaks as promptly and cost effectively as possible

Paid $368 for a leak detection service that didn’t resolve the issue. Thermal imaging was barely used, follow-up requests were ignored, and my concerns were dismissed. Very poor service, I would not recommend this company based on my experience. Very unprofessional staff and director who won't listen. I will be taking a legal action against them. Reply to your response, Oliver: You’re free to defend your reputation, but unfortunately, the service I received was not satisfactory, and your handling of the matter as a director was very unprofessional. It’s interesting that you have an issue with an honest review - exactly as you said, let customers decide for themselves whether they want to risk spending money with your company. From what I’ve seen, I’m not the only unhappy customer who feels misled. If informing you that I’m pursuing legal action is considered “bullying” or a “threat” in your view, that’s your interpretation - but I will continue to do what I believe is right.
